Professional background and experience:

Jacqueline holds a BCom degree in finance and a BA degree in counselling psychology. She is an accredited divorce and family mediator with the South African Association of Mediators (SAAM) and has been accredited as a commercial mediator with Conflict Dynamics, the Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution (CEDR, UK), Dispute Settlement Accreditation Council (DiSAC) and Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR). She is a court-annexed mediator for the Department of Justice. Jacqueline is a full-time mediator in private practice since 2006 and is active in all aspects of mediation and mediation training. She served for 11 years as treasurer of the Executive Committee of SAAM. Her financial background has proven indispensable as many disputes have a monetary aspect and her studies in psychology give her the necessary insight in conflict and relationship dynamics. Jacqueline’s main objective is to assist parties in resolving their disputes and negotiating workable agreements and settlements to prevent litigation and minimize the damage on a personal and business level.
